We strive to live our lives and conduct our business based on the tenets of our personal faith. We honor all good paths and hope that individuals find a true spiritual connection. We honor the diversity of all and do not discriminate. Our faith is a path of acceptance of all life's wondrous diversity.

All items sold as curios. We do not guarantee the magickal properties of any item. Any reference to "healing" is metaphysical in nature and is not to be considered a substitute for medical treatment by a licensed professional.

 

 

Store Policies

 

  • By ordering any of our items, you are agreeing that you are 18 years of age or older.

  • By ordering you agree that you will hold harmless and indemnify Avalon, Mystikalfyre, Blackoak Forge, its owners and assigns from any and all use and/or misuse of items purchased, against any and all claims, damages, losses and expenses, including, but not limited to, attorneys’ fees and court costs arising out of or resulting from said purchased item.

  • We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone, for any reason, at any time based on our sole discretion.

  • Regarding Herbs and Oils: These products are for RITUAL use only. Do not ingest or use topically. Additionally, when burning herbs, use in well-ventilated area. Avalon assumed no responsibility for products used incorrectly.

  • Regarding blade orders: Know the laws of your state / county regarding receiving and carrying a blade.

  • All items are sold without warranty or guarantee. Many items are vintage and are sold “as is”. Returns are not accepted except as stated below.

Knife Sales Policies

KNOW THE LAWS IN YOUR STATE / COUNTY

  • By ordering any of our items, you are agreeing that you are 18 years of age or older.

  • You also agree that you are legally allowed to purchase, possess, and carry a knife.

  • Certain types of blades canno​t be shipped to certain states or counties within the state. 

  • Regarding blade orders: Know the laws of your state / county regarding receiving and carrying a blade.

When you order a knife from Blackoak Forge, we prefer to chat with you to ensure that the end product is what you are wanting. 

 

POLICY FOR RETURNED GOODS

 

It is our desire to continue what has hopefully been a pleasurable shopping experience for you. But at some point, someone, somewhere may have thought what they were buying is actually much different than the received goods. There is an assumption that when you purchase an item, you are already educated as to the type of article you are buying. In some instances, you rely wholeheartedly upon the illustration and description within the advertisement for the item to ensure that it is exactly what you want. When you buy and ultimately take possession of an article, you actually engage in a complicated transaction which is filled with numerous legal implications regarding these factors.

 

  • Unless otherwise stated, all products and services are sold as-is, without warranty or guarantee. 

  • If we made a mistake and sent you an incorrect item:   We will gladly accept a return and do our best to correct an item, or make a refund (or store credit) to you. We will cover the postage for our mistakes.

  • You must contact us within 3 business days of receipt of the item via email or telephone.  

  • We value our ability to make a fair representation of items on our website and even more so, we value the confidence our customers have in what we offer.

  • If there is another reason you are unhappy with your purchase, contact us. If your reasons are valid, we may consider refunding (store credit) or replacing your item. We do not guarantee that we will accept a return based on any other reason than an incorrect item mistakenly sent to you.

  • We do not make returns or exchanges for merchandise that is simply unwanted.

  • If the item was damaged in shipment, you may file a claim with the USPS. We will help in any manner we can. Many items are hand-crafted and one of a kind and therefore cannot be replaced if lost or damaged.

  • If a return is agreed upon, you will be provided a confirmation number which must be included in the returned package. The buyer is responsible for the shipping costs of returning any item that is not a mistake on our part (i.e., we sent you the wrong item). We do not refund the original shipping fees. 

 

 

REGARDING PSYCHIC READINGS (OTHER SERVICES et.al.)

 

  • You must be at least 18 years of age to have a psychic reading.

  • All psychic readings are for entertainment purposes only and are not meant to be a substitute for medical or legal advice.

  • When we provide a psychic reading, we do our very best to tell you how the energies are aligned at that singular moment in time. Your choices can completely change that energy for better or worse.

  • We do not do spellwork for hire, so please do not ask. If there are cleansings or protections needed, we do not charge for that service. Never trust a psychic who wants to charge you a lot of money to get rid of a negative entity or a curse you did not even know you had until they told you about it.

  • Remember, with us, or with any psychic reading, YOU are in total control of your life decisions. Each decision you make will impact your future, so always take time to think through your decisions and make the best decisions at each step of your life regardless of what anyone, including a psychic, tells you.

  • By having a psychic reading, you agree that you will hold harmless and indemnify Avalon, its owners, agents, psychics and assigns from any and all harm, against any and all claims, damages, losses and expenses, including, but not limited to, attorneys’ fees and court costs arising out of or resulting from your reading.

 

HEALING SESSIONS

 

  • You must be at least 18 years of age to have a healing session.

  • A healing session is not a physical healing session. We are not physicians and any suggestions we make to you should be discussed with your physician or medical provider before choosing to do them, i.e., vitamin/mineral suggestions for purchase at your local pharmacy or grocer. We do not sell those products. 

  • A healing session works with the energy pathways within and without the body which may, in some circumstances, aid in your overall health. We hold the sincere belief that the mind, spirit and body should function together in harmony. We understand this belief is not universal. 

  • We also understand and believe that regardless of what healing one may seek, it is truly and totally up to that individual as to the level of healing they can and will receive. No one can alter your life path and there may be a reason that you must experience your particular situation. 

  • We promise no miracles, cures, or quick-fixes. 

  • By having a healing session, you agree that you will hold harmless and indemnify Avalon, its owners, agents, healers and assigns from any and all harm, against any and all claims, damages, losses and expenses, including, but not limited to, attorneys’ fees and court costs arising out of or resulting from your session.

 

 

WEDDINGS

 

We are ordained ministers through the Universal Life Church. We do not charge for the service, however, donations for our time and gas expense are appreciated. We will not perform marriages or handfastings for any individual under the age of 18. A valid marriage license is required. We also require an interview with both parties prior to agreeing to the ceremony. We can provide both traditional and pagan ceremonies. LGBT

Note to our customers. We have been experiencing some high shipping calculations on our website. We're working to get this fixed. If you are concerned about the shipping that shows up when you add your location, call us first before you place your order. We can fix or confirm the shipping cost. We normally ship USPS Priority Mail, so other options can be made available. 

 

If you go ahead with your order and the shipping and handling is lower, we will send you a refund of the difference via Paypal.

 

We also work to securely pack your items to protect them during shipment. Therefore, shipping & handling charges include costs for boxes, bubble wrap, paper, peanuts, etc. and may not reflect merely the postage cost alone. We do our best to recycle boxes and packing materials to keep the shipping costs as low as possible. If you want your package insured, there is an additional fee. 

 

If you are in the area, you can also pick up the item at the shop and save shipping costs as well. We can hold your items for 30 business days. 

SHOPPING - SHIPPING - IN-STORE PICK-UP

 

You can order on-line through our store or call the shop and order by phone. We can take your credit card over the phone and run it through Paypal manually if you are having any trouble putting your order through via the website. 

 

Orders are normally mailed out within 3 business days barring unforeseen events (weather, illness, etc.) We will contact you on any delays in shipping. 

We ship by USPS Priority Mail and First Class Mail Service (must be under 13 oz) to US addresses only. We do not ship outside of the US. If shipping ever seems excessive or you want to see if there is a cheaper option (such as first class or media mail for book only purchases), please call us. We are happy to work with our customer to find the best rates to ship your item to you.
